Imperviousness – Surface Sealing
We monitor pastures and livestock feed reservesClimate change requires our adaptations
Heavy showers = flooding in the city
To adapt to more intense rainfall we can reduce paved surfaces or at least prevent that there is an increase in paved surfaces, e.g. by informing and communicating with citizens.
In order to know whether ‘surface sealing’ increases NEO offers the service of monitoring surfaces on their imperviousness. We do this nationwide at the level of individual gardens and yards. Changes in pavement and imperviousness are included every 2 months.
