A brief review of the GreenportLive event where NEO employee David Marcelis gave a plenary presentation showing the developments in earth observation in recent years, the expertise with regard to satellite data for (precision) agriculture that NEO brings and the prospects for using satellite images in the Dune and Flowerbulb Region.
The afternoon, organised by a partnership between NLSpace Campus, Unmanned Valley and Greenport, brought together companies and knowledge partners from the space industry, drone technology and flower bulb cultivation. There was a busy exchange of information and connections were made between these three sectors with the overarching aim of arriving at innovative solutions that will help bulb growers in the near future to become more data-driven and meet sustainability requirements.
