NEO relationship day - Continuous Change


Retrieved from Thursday 21 March 2024 from 12.30pm NEO is organising a relationship day at the Prodentfabriek in Amersfoort. During this afternoon, interesting speakers will take you into the world of geo-data and update you on the latest developments. Participation in the relationship day is free of charge.

Keynote - Prof Kirsten de Beurs

Be inspired by the keynote session by Prof Kirsten de Beurs, Professor of Geo-information Science and Remote Sensing at Wageningen University on the topic 'Continuous Change'.

Rob Beck - 28 years of NEO

The afternoon is special because Rob Beck, founder of NEO, is stepping down as director after 28 years. Rob will look back with you on the development of NEO and the earth observation market and the personal role he played in it.

 

Breakout sessions

During the breakout sessions, guest speakers from Stedin and RVO, among others, will take you through how they use geo-data in their changing organisation.

RFO - Marcel Meijer

Marcel Meijer presents the historical development in monitoring and control based on satellite data, and outlines a future perspective in which innovative methods in agricultural monitoring will find their application.

Stedin - Ivo Visser

Ivo Visser presents on the Gas Risk Model. To prevent failures and breakdowns, targeted inspections take place and maintenance is planned. Geo-data, links to own registration, satellite measurements and other registered sources are used.

Closure & drinks

The relation day will end around 16:45 with drinks, here will be the opportunity to personally say goodbye to Rob Beck.
