NEO partner of the EnergyData Portal World Bank Group

Neo is a partner Partners - ENERGYDATA.INFO Became the EnergyData portal of the World Bank Group.
NEO has calculated the potential area for solar panels for 14 cities worldwide. These results will soon be available to everyone in the world. This product provides insight when planning, prioritising and financing local energy projects. It contributes to the global transition to sustainable energy and fits with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 7: ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
This fascinating product maps the suitability, capacity and annual potential of individual buildings. These individual buildings could still be aggregated into larger groups of buildings. To produce the maps at this scale, NEO used an artificial intelligence algorithm to select the buildings and suitable rooftops. NEO used earth observation data along with other data sources to do this.
