NEO monitors grassland plots and detects mowing moments with AI

May was wet and cool. Grass grew abundantly, but little was cut. June started with beautiful spring weather and many grass plots were harvested in the first weeks of June. The satellite image comparison shows unharvested plots in red, and newly cut plots in green and pink. The middle of the right image shows how a plot has been partially mowed. NEO monitors grassland plots and detects mowing moments based on satellite image analysis with Artificial Intelligence. This information is used by various partners to optimise operations.
