NCG study day - GeoAI & Energy Transition

On Tuesday 31 October, the Netherlands Centre for Geodesy and Geo-Informatics (NCG Foundation) is organising a study day at NEO on GeoAI & Energy Transition. Participation in the study day is free of charge.

The programmema looks as follows:

13:00: Opening/welcome Rob Beck (NEO), chairman of the day
- Ivo Visser (Stedin): Stedin streamlines energy transition with geographic AI models
- Gies Bouwman and Thomas Vijverberg (Alliander): Automated design of Liander's low-voltage grids
- Pedro P. Vergara (TU Delft): TU Delft digital twin of the Dutch electricity network (in English)

14:30: Break 30 min.

- Laurens Hagendoorn (NEO): Global energy infrastructure in focus with AI and satellite data
- Stefan Carpentier (TNO/geological service): Seismic data conditioning, processing and interpretation using the generative and accelerative power of machine learning
- Charlie Groenewegen (TU Delft): GIS/economic analysis of green hydrogen production potential in Europe and around the Mediterranean in the period 2030-2040

16:30: Closing with drinks
