In recent years, NEO has participated in many SBIR projects stimulated by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). Among others, with the MUTATIO project for the SBIR Data Landscape. One of the building blocks for our now working system of automatic monitoring of GEO objects.
This SBIR project investigated how to provide citizens, governments and businesses with up-to-date information on basic geo-registers (BAG/BGT/WOZ/BRT/BOR) by automated mutation detection based on satellite images, aerial photos and other (open) data sources.
NEO has enjoyed going through this process and taking advantage of the space provided by the RFO to develop and present new services. After 'winning' the SBIR, we continued to develop our service and in 2021 we will finally be able to offer nationwide monitoring.
The RFO has written a nice piece about our project in the 10-year SBIR projects book. The piece, and the rest of the book, is the well worth reading. If you are interested and would like to know where we are now and what we can do for you, we would of course like to hear from you.
