REIN SCHOUTE
In 2019, I, Rein Schoute, graduated from Van Hall Larenstein College in Leeuwarden where I took the Management of the Living Environment course. This is a fairly new course where students learn to bring integral solutions to spatial issues. For this, I regularly ended up at municipalities, provinces, water boards, citizens' interests, and nature organisations. GIS soon proved to be a great tool for visualising problems and solutions.
Just before getting my degree, I started working at Wetterskip Fryslân as a GIS employee. Using aerial photos and specification maps, I checked with my colleagues that our data was up-to- date and mutated our waterways, dykes, and engineering structures where necessary.
Through friends, I was pointed to NEO, a company that matches my interests incredibly well. Within NEO, I will be working with the BAG and BGT. Besides my job, I can often be found on the water in a rowing boat. In Friesland, I was at the sloop rowing club Tréwes. I hope that soon I will also be able to row with an enthusiastic team near Amersfoort!
YAPKAN CHOI
I am Yapkan Choi, graduating from TU Delft with a Master's degree in Computer Science since September 2020. During my studies, I specialised in machine learning, computer vision and data science. At NEO, I look forward to combining my background with Earth observation applications and contributing to the development of object recognition and segmentation methods.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, reading and trying new dishes.
VIVEK MISTRY
I - Vivek Mistry had completed my Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University, India in 2007. In the last year of engineering got a job with Tech Mahindra(IT Consultancy) and there I worked as Technical Consultant for 3.5 years and my job was to support CRM Application for Telecom Giant in the UK.
In December 2010, had joined Capgemini India as CRM Consultant. For the initial two years, I worked as Siebel Administrator for a couple of EU Clients. Later in June 2012, had started working for another Client where I worked for about 9 years. In this project, had undertaken different Roles and Responsibilities like Release Manager, Configuration Manager, Cutover Manager, Automation Consultant, CI/CD & DevOps Lead, Pre-Sales & Contract Writing. In my latest role, I was responsible for Designing, Implementing, and Leading CI/CD, DevOps & Configuration Management Solution, and Services their Enterprise IT using Multiple Tools & Technologies for both Private and Public Cloud.
In my career of 14 years, I had experience working in different geographies(India, UK, Germany, and the Netherlands), clients, different sectors, vendors, and cultures. I am always keen on learning new technologies and their functions - in recent years build knowledge in the area of AWS IoT, Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE), Geo-Spatial, and OpenCV.
In my spare time, I prefer to for the long run, play/watch cricket and visit new places.
