Introducing: our new colleague Maryam Ataei

After graduating from the Faculty of ITC (University of Twente) in Geoinformation Science and Earth observation with a specialisation in Urban planning and management, I started working in a geo-ict consultancy company in the Netherlands in 2020. There, I learned about BAG, BGT and stereo mapping. To challenge myself even more, I looked for new opportunities in the geo-information world in the Netherlands, and in autumn 2020 I stumbled upon NEO. I sought contact and, after interesting introductory talks, I thought it would be great fun to work for NEO.

Now it is 2021 and I started on 1 February in the position of junior Geo-information and earth observation specialist. I am very excited by all the positive impressions, the working environment, my colleagues and the flexibility NEO offers in the position of junior Geo-information and earth observation specialist within the BAG and BGT group.

In my spare time, I read many books on topics I am interested in, such as spirituality and the universe. I also enjoy being physically active, for example by dancing and doing yoga. I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes and have recently taken up writing.

We care about our planet, which is why we keep a close eye...

NEO captures objects from above and monitors changes smartly and accurately. In doing so, we create data and insights that directly contribute to your challenge.

Curious what that will bring you?
