In recent weeks, NEO has been discussing possible applications of the Tree Base service with a large number of water boards in online demo sessions. Instead of 1-on-1 discussions between NEO and the water board, we chose to invite several water boards simultaneously per session. This way, water boards could also share experiences, ideas and applications among themselves.
The benefits of the sessions are multiple. First, the water boards were made aware of the added value that Boombasis can bring to their work process. From ecological (shade) studies to determining risks that trees have on flood defences. On the other hand, NEO has gained a better understanding of the work processes and needs within the water boards. Based on this, we can tailor Tree Base and derived services even better to customer demand. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the setting gives room for meeting and sharing experiences with sometimes unfamiliar fellow water boards. And that is something many of us greatly need after a year of relative isolation.
