Based on elevation models, solar potential analyses can be well performed on a large scale (all of the Netherlands). A data service that is already frequently deployed. Sometimes we see in aerial and satellite photos that roofs are already so full of cooling towers, dormers, skylights, chimneys and façade maintenance installations that there is hardly any room for solar panels.
