Dutch solar panels reach 20,000 gWh of electricity production by 2022, according to satellite images and aerial photos.

According to satellite and aerial photos, some 20,000 gWh of electricity production from solar panels will be installed in the Netherlands by 2022.

In Solar Panels on the Map, NEO again monitored the whole of the Netherlands for solar panels via satellite photos last year. We see an increase of 40% compared to 2021. That calculation includes installations on rooftops (large and small areas) and solar parks (on land or floating). The solar panel data is in the Solar Panels on the Map web viewer view.
