All trees in view for your GWW design?

We make fitting your design into the environment cheaper and more efficient.

Better incorporation of your design with less cost

When constructing or redesigning a road or a dike, for example, the new design has to be fitted into the existing environment. Trees then often get in the way, while the importance of preserving them from an ecological and sustainability perspective is increasingly evident. Trees, like roads, engineering structures and flood defences, also represent a value. The challenge for GWW projects is to take the environment and trees into account as much as possible.

However, good data on where trees are located is limited. For good fitting design, it is necessary to know all trees, both in public spaces and on private property. Surveying or measuring trees yourself is expensive and time-consuming, and open datasets are incomplete.

NEO helps. With NEO's tree services, you have an instant picture of the trees and know what to consider in your design. We immediately visualise tree crowns, trunk positions (on which plot is the tree) and root risk zones. We do this based on aerial photos and several times a year with satellite images. The data is therefore always as up-to-date as possible. Our tree services relieve you of worries and bring both risks and opportunities into focus.

The service includes all trees in the Netherlands and is quickly and easily available (e.g. via our API): the data can be loaded directly into your CAD or GIS-based design environment.

You save costs for collection and have a faster turnaround time because the data is delivered instantly.

Your design can be fitted in optimally. You will gain insight into the impact on costs, road safety, wind throw effect and ownership and maintenance responsibilities (in whose plot and in what zone is the tree located?).
