Capella Space is an Earth observation company that makes current and reliable Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) observations using small satellites. Capella is the first US company to launch and operate commercial SAR satellites and also has the highest resolution available (50cmx50cm, Very High Resolution, or VHR). Capella's new satellites are interfaced with leading cloud infrastructure, providing global insights to defence and investigative agencies, government and commercial customers.
NEO monitors changes in infrastructure, agriculture and water surfaces. In this, Capella Space's products can be a valuable addition of information. Among other things, NEO is currently looking at the feasibility of VHR SAR data to detect and monitor drought in the Netherlands.
