Our basic materials are sculptures.
Images are raw material for NEO. Incidentally, the same applies to point clouds, radar datasets and other Big Data. We have automated chains for processing. The chains provide input for mutation signalling, but also for teaching materials, wall decoration, etc.
NEO also invests in its relationships with those who supply the raw material: the firms that operate satellites, planes, drones, etc. to take pictures of the earth.
Procurement of raw material is part of our service. We have no preference for a supplier, but rely on data requirements. Of recent note are our relationships with Planet Labs and Capella Space.
