In the database\u00a0Mutation signals BAG and BG<\/em>T, Amersfoort-based NEO BV transfers change signals from the property registration in the Basic Register of Addresses and Buildings and the area objects in the Basic Register of Large-scale Topography of the area under your control and soon nationwide. The signals are linked to the objects in both registries and signal the changed objects. The nature of the change may also include the disappearance of an existing object or the creation of a new object or, for example, a change in paving.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

How is the information in Mutation signals BAG and BGT offered?<\/i><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The mutation signals are offered in an API to subscription holders. Of course, a 1-month or 1-year subscription is possible. The API is a so-called RESTFUL API in accordance with Dutch standards. How current is Mutation signals BAG and BGT<\/i>?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We start by establishing a 'baseline situation' using the most recent aerial photos by comparing them with the previous ones. Changes are then spotted on the Very High Resolution satellite images (pixel size on the ground of 50*50 cm) during the rest of the year until another new set of aerial photos becomes available. We assume that we can work out new images within 2months of their availability to us. The aforementioned satellite images are taken six times a year from the whole of the Netherlands. An estimate is that after the first aerial images are processed, updates will be made about four times a year.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What object classes does the standard product have Mutation signals BAG and BGT<\/i>?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the standard product, we distinguish the following object classes:
- Buildings: buildings + other structures<\/strong>: buildings (new buildings are not distinguished into building, low transformer, canopy, shed, canopy, open shed and storage tank), basin, and wind turbine
- Roads: road sections + supporting road sections<\/strong>: cycle path, footpath, driveway, parking surface, carriageways, ov lane, speed bump, verge, traffic island, footpath on steps. This subdivision is not made for new road elements
- Water: water parts + supporting water parts<\/strong>. Changes in the land-water boundary between water sections and support are not signalled (due to changes in vegetation and water level.
- Terrain: bare terrain sections + vegetated terrain sections:<\/strong> we identify changes in geometry, paving and vegetation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Is there anything else possible besides the standard product?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The subdivision of new buildings and road elements can, however, be delivered as an accuracy-guaranteed product using visual analysis and\/or oblique imagery. The same applies to certain point objects, such as transmission masts, trees and bushes. And of course we will be happy to discuss all other object types with you. How complete and accurate is the information in Mutation signals BAG and BGT?<\/i><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The mutation signals are complete for at least 95% for the mutations that arise with respect to the 1st image involved in a mutation signal and calculated over a period of one year. The correctness of signals in the base product is at least 90% at 1st execution. A correctness of 99% is targeted for signals in subsequent periods.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What is a mutation and how big does it have to be to be spotted?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A mutation is a persistent physical change in objects in the outdoor environment: trees, buildings, roads watercourses, terrains, solar panels, etc. For the BAG and the BGT, these are planar objects. The mutations for which we issue the above guarantees have a surface area of >2.5 m2 <\/sup>(aerial photo \u226410cm and lidar data) or >35 m2<\/sup> (satellite image).\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I see erroneous mutation signals in the database, what can I do?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When you access the data via the API in your own GIS application, you can comment on the individual mutation signals. We can correct those. In this way, you can also make a selection for which a mapping should be performed by NEO or another. In this way, the signals are again the basis for controlling a signal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
