Satellite information is gaining a prominent position in agricultural data supply. Various parties active on and around the farm experience the benefit of accurate, timely and country-wide satellite information. This includes, for instance, (sub-)parcel information with which a grower can support his precision farming techniques or with which a chain party can detect the timing of crop harvesting at regional level. National paying agencies (such as RVO in the Netherlands) use country-wide satellite information to check agricultural subsidy applications for legality.
NEO observes the earth's surface and monitors development of agricultural crops throughout the season. NEO supports the various stakeholders around the farm by producing and delivering the necessary satellite information. We use the CropMonitor to provide insight into relevant crop developments for our customers. Every customer gets online insight information. The CropMonitor presents time series at plot level for vegetation indices and makes data analysis easier!

An example of NEO's CropMonitor. The time slider shows available satellite images through time and shows the growth course of crops. Clicking on a plot (outlined in blue) also shows the corresponding NDVI curve on the right.
