Earth observation data is going to play an increasing role in solving societal issues. NEO has been successfully operating in this field for more than 25 years and adds value to our customers with its data services.

As Junior sales consultant You will be responsible for selling Geo data services. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will work with the customer to find the most suitable solution. This way, you not only help deliver the right data but also ensure a long-term relationship. You are part of the commercial team and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer within NEO.

 There is a lot of scope to fill the role in an entrepreneurial way. The focus is on selling standardised data services (such as building, tree, road, solar panel data) to both commercial and public organisations. NEO's customers include government, municipalities, insurers, contractors, energy companies, engineering firms and more.

We are looking for

Someone with 1 year of demonstrable work experience in a sales position with customer responsibility as an advantage. Someone with at least a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working in combination with an affinity for data, IT and innovation. An important factor is an excellent knowledge of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.

Your work

  • Acquisition and relationship management
  • Building and maintaining relationships
  • Representing the company by participating in trade fairs and conferences
  • Together with the commercial team, develop and validate new product-market combinations
  • Providing sales and market analyses, monitoring trends and developments and reporting on these
