About us
We are an integrated company formed from the merger of four leading geo-information and data technology companies: eLEAF, NEO, Sensar and 52impact. By joining forces, we address societal challenges in climate change, water management, agriculture and infrastructure. Our goal is to create a future where advanced data technology seamlessly contributes to solutions for a thriving planet.
As a trusted partner in our clients' sustainability journey, we create an inclusive and purposeful work environment, where our teams are encouraged to work with curiosity, integrity and impact. Together, we build a better world as well as a better company.
We are a growing organisation driven by innovation and the ambition to create a better future. Short lines of communication and a collaborative culture allow us to scale up quickly. We want to be closer to our customers, understand their needs better and respond proactively to their challenges. You will help us take that next step!
About the Role
As part of a diverse team of developers, you will work on projects and services centred on geo-information and Earth observation data. Our unique datasets are made available through various APIs, and we also offer various other channels to make insights accessible to a wide range of customers.
All these solutions have some features in common:
- The datasets are huge;
- They can be positioned geographically on a map;
- They must reach customers quickly, safely and reliably.
In this position, you will work on a wide variety of projects across the organisation, focusing on databases, APIs and (vector) geodata. This is the ideal position for someone who enjoys solving complex issues, both independently and together with colleagues. You will actively contribute to the further growth of our company and have plenty of room to take initiative.
Do you want to help unlock new insights from large amounts of diverse Earth observation data? Join our team and leave your mark!
What will you do?
You will make contributions to our codebase, work on a wide range of projects and automate the production of data provided via our API. In addition, you will further manage, maintain and develop our API so that hundreds of thousands of requests can be processed as efficiently as possible. You will also ensure integration with our platform and other R&D initiatives, such as our geo-enabled agent.
Finally, you will share your specialist knowledge with the team and work together to deliver unique insights for our clients, based on our extensive collection of geodata.
